Photos from the march in solidarity with the Iranian people on February 28
We woke up today to discover that the United States bombed a girl's elementary school in the south of Iran, and 100 children were killed. Many groups were gathering in downtown Montréal to react to yet another American war. I followed the protest organized by the Palestinian Youth Movement (@pymmontreal on Instagram) and the Iranian Canadian Congress.
Here are a few photos.

On a personal note: there were Trump-supporting counter-protesters at the beginning of the manif. While I was focusing on taking a photo, a young man tried to knock my camera from my hands.
Some Trump-loving jackass tried to knock my DSLR out of my hands while I was taking photos at a manif this afternoon. I'm totally fine, the camera seems to be okay so far (an older lady intervened, all my love to protest grandmas they really are the best). Mais quel enculé.

Thanks to the protestor who intervened, my camera is in one piece, and I was able to keep taking photos of the march through downtown.
The protest was also covered by CityNews Montreal here:
