Looking back at the photos from the anti-war « Hands Off Iran & Lebanon » march on the 7 March 2026 in Montréal
On March 7 2026, rendez-vous at Philips Square in front of La Baie to denounce the war and American imperialism, a march organised by Palestine Youth Movement Montréal and the Iranian Canadian Congress.

Also at the march, Cleo Clamen from the Link (Concordia University's student newspaper) described in detail how the march went in the article released this week: "Hundreds march against U.S.-Israeli military action in Iran and Lebanon"

The group Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME) is circulating a petition to ask Carney's government to condemn the American and Israeli attacks against Iran and Lebanon.

A few signs...

During the demo on Saturday, many different groups were passing flyers on bill C-233, a bill to stop the export of Canadian-manufactured weapons to the United States that would be used against Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. The Liberal government rejected the bill on Wednesday. Note that one of the compagnies concerned, Roshel, is also selling weapons and equipments to American DHS and ICE.

A few days after this manif, member of parliament Alexandre Boulerice (NDP) described himself as shocked by the Canadian government's statements made on Iran.
