Craft notes 🔒: four drafts to a poem

A few years ago, for the month of April, I gave myself the NaPoWriMo challenge of writing a poem a day. I was very diligent for the first half of the month, and ended up with a bunch of drafts in a little notebook I recently rediscovered while ignoring the terrifying disaster in the corner of my living room, uhh, I mean, tidying my workspace.

While going through the notebook yesterday, I decided to try to finish one of the poems I started during those short writing sprints years ago. So here is every handwritten draft, from beginning to end, so that I can offer a glimpse at my slow (even glacial) process writing process.
